The Hong Kong jurisdiction
Hong Kong is situated on the south coast of China and it became a Special Administration Region in 1997 within the People’s Republic of China. No tax is imposed on foreign profits, while there is a 17,5% tax rate on all income sourced within the country. Hong Kong has also signed various specific treaties.
Just like in the Cyprus jurisdiction , the IBC’s registered office must be in Hong Kong, but as opposed to Cyprus, the personal details of the shareholders and the directors are on public file. There is no minimum capital requirement, while commercial and trading activities are subject to trading restrictions.
